BMW ConnectedDrive problem

Trying to update the traffic subscription from the BMW Connected website. I was able to do information technology terminal yr, but this yr it seems to be having an fault with my address and wont proceed to the payments folio. I have been on to their e-mail back up to sort it out and was promised, sent VIN and Reg but no joy. They only appear to respond to emails every couple of weeks.
I was also trying to extend the service pack on my wifes automobile a few months agone and it did not work then either.
Is there some tip to filling out your address. This is shocking that the site has non been able to take payments for months and that customers can't buy services.
Any ideas ????

Non always, I wanted to get the nav updated and was told information technology was a monumental waste of money eg €100s and I'd be without the car for 8 hours as it takes so long to practice. The service managing director adviced on how to download the file to a USB and upload mysef for ahout €30. Or as he said, "sure google maps is better anyway."

The OP isnt looking to download maps, just update a subscription to an online service.
I'thousand sure the primary dealer will be able to steer him in the correct direction.
If he wanted maps and an FSC, I'd take sent a DM .

Slowly realising it's the biggest load of horsesh!t of a service, including the app. I'm letting all subs expire without renewals. For support, a BMW dealer is of cypher use to you.

Irish from new. I purchased last year on line. Information technology is just the site won't proceed to the payment page. I have a Tom Tom with lifetime services which is improve. Simply it would be squeamish to become a feature that I purchased with the car.

Irish from new. I purchased last year on line. It is just the site won't proceed to the payment folio. I accept a Tom Tom with lifetime services which is better. Just it would be dainty to become a feature that I purchased with the car.

Tried that, been on to them by electronic mail for weeks. About iv differnt agents involved. They are worse than some of the telecoms call centres and thats bad.

Tried that. Information technology is failing some validation on the address fields and I used the smae accost from last years invoice for the service.
Just curious has anyone been able to purchase anything in the last iii months from the bme connected website, i.east. a service pack or an additional service for their car.???

Looks like there might be a problem with ConnectedDrive at the moment.
Tried to add a new vehicle last week - requested the verification twice and it didn't come through to the car, and since then the App just says "unable to add this vehicle to your account".
Simply logged in on the website and it says "Your vehicle data could not exist loaded. Please click on "Load vehicle information" and try information technology again."
Clicking on Load vehicle data but refreshes the page to the same error message.

completely broken at present. Tin can't log into the website at all. There is a impuissant error code at the top of the screen. Y'all deceit connect to the connected bulldoze from the iPhone app either.
Finally after a number of weeks (four) the help desk have come dorsum to be and enabled the traffic for another yr, charging my credit card on file.

I purchase the Map updates from eBay as I already have a lifetime code practical in the motorcar.
The firmware updates etc, I exercise through the App.I'k currently on 19-2 in the I3 and the F10.

Similarity I've a lifetime FSC, but I find the maps from other sources.

I presume that this is unique to the car?Yous can buy it from an online source or if yous have Esys and a INET cable go the a re-create of the FSC code (specific to that vehicle) from the auto and generate your ain based on the idrive and map version.

BMW are very poor at this sort of affair. I paid for Apple CarPlay and cancelled it within the allowed 2 weeks as information technology really wasn't worth paying for.
That was last July and I am however chasing them for my refund. They are blaming their invoice organization and all sorts of things.

BMW aftersales in the United kingdom at least is incredibly poor for all manner of issues downwards to continued drive, recallsand general organisation.
Coincidentally mine of off to them later on today for the ERG libation recall, took five week expect to book it in.

Who's fault is the broken Spotify integration? Spotify blame BMW and BMW render the gesture and blame Spotify. Tin even so stream over bluetooth mind, with some limited functionality via iDrive/steering wheel control.
The quality and implementation of all of this is p!ss poor as is their apparent lack of giving two f00ks

I no longer seem to have the pick to connect "Apps", just phone and audio - is that the same on your's at present?
Spotify never worked for me. Would occasionally show as an option (usually after first pairing of the phone) but would paw when I tried to use it, and only went back to Bluetooth.
This car volition show the track playing through Spotify in the odometer section if you use the correct scroll bicycle, but skipping to the next rails more often than not doesn't work. Google Play Music works a hell of a lot better for some reason.

Yous can buy information technology from an online source or if you have Esys and a INET cable become the a copy of the FSC lawmaking (specific to that vehicle) from the car and generate your own based on the idrive and map version.
Seems like I didn't need this - maps updated seamlessly from the USB.
